Oceanside DMV

My experience was phenomenal. I've been coming to this dmv branch for over 15 years. It has made great changes, making things much better for visitors. Make an appointment make an appointment make an appointment. That is step 1 to have a phenomenal experience like I did. Step 2 I had John who assisted me with my appointment. John was the best, friendly, helpful and precise. He needs a raise. All your employees should be like John. Make an appointment. I hope this helps everyone. Have a great day

Not a good DMV experience and not sure they care about reviews. Driving test was last test on Friday afternoon. Line was backed up for 2 hours. We had last test of the day and evaluator made my son make a left across a double yellow line in busy traffic out of DMV parking lot. I think he purposely made it difficult so he would fail fast. Low pass rates and govt institution with few other options. Pick another DMV for behind the wheel test.

A potentially bad day and probable 2 rating was made good by Adriana, a manager there. She helped with a relocation from another state and uncovered a mistake that overcharged us by several hundred dollars which she promptly corrected. Her experience, empathy and attitude are a credit to the DMV.

This place is always super busy, but it goes pretty fast if you have an appointment. The people who work here are super nice and helpful. However, parking is tough, so a star off for that.

First time at this location, didn't have an appointment but I had a really efficient and wonderful experience thanks to Leigh Ann and Brissa. Both ladies were knowledgeable and went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. I was welcome and I was valued. I can't speak for every employee or every experience at the Oceanside DMV - but I was really impressed with my visit!
