BOB JANKOVICS FRIENDLY INSURANCE AGENCY

As a rideshare driver, I was exploring auto insurance options when my search led me to this agency where I spoke with Elizabeth Burns. Elizabeth proved to be the most gracious, attentive and professional agent I’ve yet had the pleasure to interact with. She made what has historically proven to be an unwelcome chore a true pleasure!

BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE of this companies Parking lot SCAM. . . They have 1 and only 1 very small, barely visible private property sign, cleverly placed after and above the brick bldg, so you can hardly see it. . . Then they pay a guy to HIDE in the brick bldg in their parking lot. He watches you from behind the windows that have closed shades, and puts a boot on your car when you leave the lot. He wont remove the boot till you pay him. Is business that bad that you have to resort to SCAMS like this Jankovics? Shame on you

Per Felicia Zunic's review: Friendly Insurance Agency currently rents 5 parking spaces for customers in the parking lot located 10-20 cannon street. If you did not park in one of their assigned parking spots (which there is a clear sign posted in front of spots #1-5 indicating they are for the insurance agency), then please do not put the blame back onto Friendly Insurance Agency. To be perfectly honest, I was skeptical about going into the City of Poughkeepsie to do business from the start. From all outward appearances, the place is run down, the sidewalks are overgrown with weeds, there's garbage everywhere, and I read incidence of crime in the newspaper almost every week. Upon arriving at Bob Jankovics Insurance Company in Poughkeepsie, the very first thing I noticed was the garbage. The second thing I noticed was that there was no parking - anywhere. Eventually I did find some, but it was all pay-to-park, and that bothered me. Once inside, things did not improve. Bob Jankovics is an old, run down bank with out dated furniture and a skeleton crew of three ladies, who I found to be rude, judgmental and obnoxious. This company is filled with anything but FRIENDLY people! Very rude and non courteous. Don’t waste your time and hard earned money with this despicable business.
