Stay away from this health insurance. I've called several times to get the number for specialists and they give me several and that's good and all. But every single medical office I called from the list they gave me, does not accept this health insurance. So basically I've been paying any medical treatment from my pocket. I will be changing this horrible insurance on November. The best way to describe my experience with this insurance is: having NO insurance.

Terrible insurance company. Their physicians database is either out of date or nonexistent because the doctors they have listed either don’t accept the insurance, are no longer in practice, or just plain don’t work at the offices provided with no forward information. I have spent a year on this insurance just trying to find a practicing PCP and have yet to find one. Don’t bother trying to call customer service and work with them because the representatives will just snidely direct you to the website database, which as stated before is useless. On top of that they claim they don’t cover the most basic stuff; and yet again the representative have no clue what they are talking about nor do they understand medical terminology. Can’t wait to switch companies.

Unbelievable!!! I've been injured seriously for the first time and don't have a history of any type of drug abuse .. NEVER.. this is Saturday the 7th and had an operation on the 6th tore my achilles tendon on the 23rd and haven't got any type of pain medicine because Amerigroup says that I have exceeded my limit of 12 pills that they gave me in the emergency room on the 23rd. So my operation was on the 6th and from the 25th to the 6th no medication now I'm at home trying to get my medication filled and they're still telling me no that I exceeded. So now I'm at home after my operation with stitches up the back of my leg and still no pain medicine freaking the eff out... Yeah I understand Maryland has no big problem but that's not my problem my problem is the back of my leg I don't care abo

My 4 year old's fever spiked to 102 last night. The only urgent care that was open denied her visit because of billing issues that I called you about numerous times that you said you would fix and didn't! They will not see her because you lied to me AGAIN! Your substandard "service" is unacceptable and I will be contacting corporate immediately!

Most reputable insurance companies provide communication to intended service recipients BEFORE they start taking any action in their cases. The very first time that we even knew that you existed was when we received a call from our pharmacy informing us that our request for refill on an ongoing RX had been DENIED. The next time we heard from you was when you DENIED a prescribed colonoscopy. This is very compromising to the well-being of any person suffering debilities, it is very distressing, annoying, and embarrassing. Nobody deserves this kind of negligible behavior and we are not even certain that you have the right to resort
