Paid doctor out of pocket ( because she was not in network ) submitted to BCBS for reimbursement. They sent the reimbursement payment to the provider, ( she now was an in-network provider) told her to refund me, & write off the balance. That was 17 months ago & $3200! They keep telling me that they have sent her notices & were going to withhold her payment to reimburse me, they escalated the claim for 6 months & still nothing.... VERY FRUSTRATING -
Terrible customer service and no accountability for their failures to provide the basic services they get paid to provide. Basically a racketeering outfit masquerading as a legitimate company.
