Unfortunately I went to a facility owned by them. A staff member escorted me and another client thru a doorway prohibited to clients where a welcome mat was placed in a position that created a hazard . Usually staff would remove it. This particular staff member entered first and failed to warn us or remove it , I ended up tripping over it an falling down a flight of stairs suffering injuries that I'm now stuck owing for medical treatment. They are trying to blame me but never addressed the employee that ignored the hazard while under her supervision and care. Incredible !!!!

If your employer uses United Health or Optum and you have a choice to opt out of or not pay for your employers healthcare, DO IT. Choose a private or different insurance or go with your spouse’s. This insurance company is the worst. Their customer service is outsourced and they are unhelpful and ignorant to anything you ask. They couldn’t even comprehend that i was requesting to opt out of marketing and further correspondence after my accounts have been closed for years and I still get mail from them. They also don’t cover much and fight you when you need something covered. It is throwing away dollars if you are paying to have them as your insurance provider/carrier. I thought Aetna was bas but no UHC is the absolute worst. Drop them as soon as you can!

If I could go lower I would. The registration for the app is counter productive. I spent 30 minutes on the phone. I have two children in same household. Why in the world do I need to create two separate accounts????? Makes absolutely no sense. I’m absolutely disgusted and pissed about how incompetent the developers are. Negative stars. Do not recommend!!!!!!!!

As with everything else we hear about this company they denied my aunt life saving surgery simply because “she can still live “ without the one lumpectomy- what kind of heartless people do they have running this place ?

I used to get extra help for my prescriotion drug plan that ended in Dec 2021. Nov 2023, they notify me they were just informed the extra help ended in Dec 2021. Billing me for the difference ($246) for 2022 and 2023. Four times they changed my payment method from SSA to direct billing without my permission and blamed Social Security. Social Security told me I am the only one who can change it and I would have to tell United Healthcare and they would notify Social Security. I never gave them permission to change it. I asked for verification they were never notified about the extra help ending until Nov 2023, they told me they can't because it's confidential information in their system. I asked about a payment plan for the $246, they never responded to that request. Just received t
