Ryan Whitehead: Allstate Insurance

The agent over Allstate helped me get my homeowners insurance. They were really helpful. I ran into a snag and they were really understanding and a lot of me enough time to make corrections. Once the corrections were made. They move swiftly to evaluate the corrections and I was able to keep my homeowners insurance. Everyone has been professional and polite and very helpful And the prices are really good. I give this company a two thumbs up five stars across the board and if you’re looking for homeowners insurance or car insurance or a great bundle, Allstate is definitely highly recommended for me.

I'm a member of drivewise, they say it gives you savings on your insurance rate. Sometimes I find it inaccurate of posting the correct information . Just yesterday I used my car phone hands-free and it stated that I used my cell phone. As of yet I have seen no discount in my policy for using drivewise. I have not seen any discount . My new policy is due in December . Let's see if there's any discounts then . I jumped from insurance company to increase insurance company looking for the cheapest rate. Just hope my policy has some discounts for this 6 month coming up that's due.

This is a terrible insurance agency. Stay away. They don't answer any questions with the justification that everything is "internal and private" and want to cancel my homeowner's insurance policy for extremely vague reasons which they refuse to elaborate on. They won't even provide me with a copy of my homeowner's insurance policy and insist that I communicate with "corporate" whom they can't even provide an email for. Only an "800" number. Luckily I have legal council who I am utilizing to deal with their nonsense. If they do the same to you, be sure to demand a hearing in your appeal and file a complaint with the Pennsylvania Insurance Department.

All around bad experience with this agency. When our premiums were going to rise in February, we wanted to reduce them by raising the deductible going forward for when the policy renews. They took it upon themselves to make that effective the day of our phone call in January without confirming this is what we wanted to do (why would we change our policy during a period when its already paid in full for). So, naturally we had a claim during that month gap and had to pay a $750 dollar deductible when it should have been $500 because our policy had not renewed yet. We cannot get anyone at this office to acknowledge they made a mistake, just keep getting the run around to different departments. We have asked to speak with Ryan multiple times but he refuses to reach out to his client to resolve

Initially Ryan from Allstate gave better price and said that we at Allstste don't increase insurance price every 6 months like other insurance company. But as like other insurance company they hiked the price saying PA state wants to increase the price, ok. After few months again went up, does PA state wants to increase every few month. I tried to reach Ryan with whom I initially spoked, to get better price but I never got him over the phone. Whenever I call some sales person will come and tell me if you increase your deductible it will go down. I am not happy with Allstate considering to change with other company.
