Be careful with Travelers Home Insurance. As an educator and influencer, it is within the scope of my responsibility to alert the public about possible dangers in our society. This is not just another review. This is a testimony of betrayal. My father-in-law paid Travelers Insurance faithfully for more almost ten years, trusting they would protect his home and his family. Month after month, year after year, he did his part. He paid without fail, believing that when disaster struck, the company would stand by him. Terrible, the adjuster Jeff is the worst! He does not communicate with you. You have to follow up many times. I will submit a complaint to consumer affairs. We had a flood in the basement due to a power outage. I provided all the evidence and called the insurance. They assigned Jeff, who did not even bother to come. He called me via a Zoom call to assess the damage. Then, after a few follow-up calls, he stated that the sump pump is not covered, when clearly the plumber said the sump pump is fine. Stay away, as you would think you are covered, but they will invent a reason for you to not get the coverage. I will cancel this insurance and will not recommend it to anyone.

Do not recommend. They increased my premium by 31% this year because they increased all NJ drivers by 9% and we had a tree hit our car this year. Then I needed roadside assistance and it took 3 tow truck companies and 6 hours total to get my car 3 miles and my drivers side door was ripped off by the 3rd tow. It has now been 3.5 weeks and they have not fixed it yet. I will be leaving as soon as this issue is fixed.

Ask the counseling my insurance it took Travelers over a month to send me the balance of my insurance coverage. Very unprofessional company.

Doubled my rates and you can't even contact anyone.. I have been trying to cancel my policy for a week now and nobody wants to help you or answer the phone. Absolutely insane from an insurance company.
