I 've been having an extremely frustrating experience dealing with Loomis regarding delayed payments. I was initially informed back in December that a stop payment and check trace would be initiated, only to later find out that the process had not actually been started. This misinformation resulted in significant delays. To make matters worse, prior payments were sent via paper check without any notification, despite my prior enrollment in electronic payments through their previous platform (V-Pay). I was never informed of their transition to a new payment system (Zelis), which contributed to the confusion and delay. Communication has been inconsistent, and I have not received a follow-up response via email regarding whether my payments can be expedited after waiting nearly three months
The Loomis Company is hands down the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. They failed to process two of my claims for almost 10 to 11 months after my appointments. By the time they finally did anything, I was no longer even a member of the plan. For the past eight months, I’ve been trying to get this resolved, and every time I call, I get a completely different story. Sometimes they say I should have been covered, but then they tell me they can’t re the claim. Other times they tell me to contact my old employer to find out what insurance they have now, which makes absolutely no sense. On a few calls, they said they would reprocess it, but I would never hear back. Then, like clockwork, the claim would be denied again about 30 days later with no explanation and no follow-up. Garbage company!!! $200/month but won't pay for a $200 prevention doctor visit??? What are we paying for except to line their pockets! Update: try the insurance market. Found better coverage than this company for less monthly payments but covers more! Found out that this company is a provider so companies can say they "provide insurance" to their workers. But it's an insurance that provides nothing.
Worst company ever (of any kind), hands down! Do not give this company a dime of your money. My dental insurance was switched to them last year. Still working on "getting me in their system", no ID cards, not a penny of dental claims paid for almost a year, cannot speak to anyone and get told over and over that they are working on it. I can only assume that a handful of friends and family pushed the average reviews above 1.0 as I cannot imagine a happy Loomis customer actually exists.
This insurance company has been one of the worst insurance/ customer service experiences I have had. The only way to get contact is through a one way messaging system that is outdated on their online platform. I have submitted a claim over 2 months ago and it has gone no where with zero communication. I reached out about progress back in May and I received a message 2 days later about some codes I needed to get from a billing department. I would not have known this without me initiating contact. There is no way to attach or submit additional information for an existing claim without a new message, so there is no way to tell on my end that these have been submitted. I have tried calling multiple times and can never get through to staff to assist. It’s beyond frustrating that I pay for this
