Susan Kempfer: Allstate Insurance

So far, the experience has been positive. They have great rate for my cars and house. The process to sign the contract and pay is very smooth. Wait to see the experience when claims happen.

Insurance can be complicated. It is great to talk to a real person that can explain options. I was ready to leave AllState because I couldn't get answers through the corporate website or calling the corporate 800 number. Finding a local agent that took the time to explain options and details, as well as ways to save on my insurance, saved me from having to change insurance companies.

I have always loved Allstate as a company, I still do but I am not a fan of this particular office. I have recently terminated an auto insurance policy with them. I called at 4:30pm on a Friday and spoke with Kyle. At first he told me I would now owe $500 dollars possibly and that he had no more information about that until Monday. When I asked where that number came from, he became quite short with me and it seemed that he had an attitude about me even asking. I know they owe at 5pm and were closed on weekends so I’d imagine I was hurried off of the phone with no answers at all. I found it to be a bit ridiculous so I called the customer service line and my issue was very quickly sorted. I was then contacted on Monday to be told by Kyle that I was getting a small refund. Great rates and they take the time to explain your policy to you line-by-line, even going as far to compare it to your current policy with another company. Responsive and friendly office staff as well!

Not sure why there are so many reviews about poor customer service. I’ve been with Susan and her team for a couple of years and so far things have been great! Sure they raise the prices, but what insurance company doesn’t?? I’ve got my home and auto through them and will continue to be a loyal customer.
