Smith Brothers Insurance

A total scam! Although this company is now owned by Smith Brothers, my suggestion is to stay away and look for a different insurance broker who will refer you to an honest insurance company! If you have a problem with an insurance company that Shank & Falvey refers to you, don't bother calling the owner, Chuck Shank, as he won't get back to you by phone or email. The insurance company that Shank & Falvey referred me to (Foremost Insurance) made up all sorts of excuses when I filed my claim for hurricane damages to avoid paying for it. In some cases, like mine, the scam works like this - the insurance companies that Shank & Falvey refer may not even perform an initial inspection on your home and will just quickly write up a policy and agree to collect your scheduled payments. DO NOT USE. Beware of this company. This place hires untrained “agents” and calls them “Product Manager.” Almost cost me my mortgage approval for unresponsive staff who “didn’t notice” there was an issue. Awful.

Terrible no customer service. I'm glad I never needed to use their insurance.
