I recently called this insurance company to get a landlord insurance quote for two investment properties I’m purchasing. The agent I spoke with "Kim" was unprofessional and made the process very uncomfortable. Instead of focusing on the landlord insurance I requested, she kept insisting that she wanted to quote me for auto and homeowner’s insurance for my primary residence as well. I agreed to let her provide a quote, but then she started asking for unnecessary personal information — including my driver’s license number and the names and dates of birth of every family member in my home. When I explained that this level of information isn’t needed just to get a landlord insurance quote, she told me that her insurance companies wouldn’t provide any quote without it.
