Only giving them a one because I can't put a negative number. they short paid my death benefit from my dad. No explanation was given. when I called to find out what's going on. nobody seems to be able to tell me and they have to check with someone else. Then you don't hear back from them. last person I reached out to hung up on me. I'm filing a legal complaint.

I really want to give them a 0! Every time I call I'm on hold between 30-45 minutes. And since they're constantly messing up my claims, I'm calling them ALL the time. Their answers are always "we haven't received it yet (mind you, it's from 2024) or my favorite "we need the EOB" (which has been sent numerous times), to bring me back to "we haven't received it". I have a $2000 bill from 2024 that they haven't paid yet because of the above mentioned EOB... Seriously! They are absolutely the worst insurance company I've ever had. A major overhaul needs to be done there because it's not right to put people through this stress.

Worst selfservice on their website I´ve ever seen and problems to login on weekends. You can see claims which proceeded, but not, if they recieved them. At least, the processing of claims is working good now

I have been trying unsuccessfully through numerous numbers including one provided by my credit union to reach Selman.. After several phone calls and extraordinarily long wait times are over 25 minutes each,I resorted to writing to them at three different addresses in order to cancel my policy and discontinue their deductions from my checking account. It was easy enough to reach them when I applied for the insurance but to cancel is next to impossible. Buyer beware. I’m still not sure that the policy has been canceled since no confirmation has yet to be received. I could not get any assistance online either because that would’ve been the most expedient way to go of course.

They are the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. I would give them 0 stars if possible. I’m at 3 months and counting to get a quote for portability!!!
