No stars would be more appropriate/accurate. I have been a loyal customer for about 40 years. I should have quit Geico 21 years ago after my husband passed away. I was driving him back and forth to NYC for cancer treatment. A parking garage attendant backed our truck in between 2 pillars and dented both sides of the back end. Geico charged me 2 $500 copays. Today I received an email indicating my coverage will be canceled on 9/1 if pmt is not received. I mailed a check on 8/9. Why are customers responsible for the company’s failure to process payments in a timely manner?? I’m totally kicking Geico to the curb!

This is not about Rick Schrade's. I believe they are good people so that's why this review isn't one star.I'm very unhappy with GEICO. We were in an accident where the other party was at fault. We did talk to GEICO but ended up working with the other party's insurance company. After all was settled - we were paid off - the money was deposited in our bank account, GEICO stepped in and pulled the money back out of our account - can't make this stuff up! Thankfully we have a very good local bank that notified us to what was going on. Even so it took an hour of my wife's time on the phone trying to get the process reversed. As it stands right now the money is gone and we are being told we will be reimbursed. How did they get our account info!? How did they convince the bank that this was okay

Sloan Seymour gave me a great, fair rate for full insurance after an autopay snafu lapsed me out of my previous insurer (who I had previously been a customer with for half of my entire life!). Thanks to Sloan's excellent service, I will be staying with GEICO for the foreseeable future. 5/5 stars.
