Been a progressive customer for almost 7 years with a clean crash record. Saturday night guy plowing backed into my car while parked at a store. Progressive just doing everything they can to be as uninvolved as possible, all their messages have been automated texts, I never ONCE got a phone call from a real person. They never called to discuss options, they never told me if I went through his insurance I would be covered for a rental, I wouldn't have to pay the deductible, then to add insult to injury they offer me HALF of what my car is valued at. All they want is your money, but when you finally do get in an accident they do everything in their power to pay as little as possible. Maybe this is evidence why you should avoid the insurance giants (progressive, allstate, GEICO) and do with t

Don't fall for the cheap price, you get what you pay for. Not worried about you or your car. Just what they can NOT pay you. Took away my rental car and told me I could keep it for the 30 days if I wanted to pay for it. My truck was totaled and I had not even had a chance to purchase another vehicle. They do not care about you.

They dont deserve the 1 star at all as I have exhausted all resources for a simple payment. When you ask to speak to a manager, no one can seem to find one in office and when you get their number they never get back to you after several attempts. Kate parmenger is the adjusters manager I have been dealing with and absolutyely no communication skills whatsoever. She is the reason i canceled my 5 car auto policy and home policy with this company.

Extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. I was involved in a claim with Progressive where I was not the policyholder, and I was essentially treated like I didn’t exist. The claim adjuster assigned to the case—and her supervisor—were completely unreachable. Neither of them answered their phones, and both of their voicemails were full for over a week. I never once spoke to a real person who was actually working on my claim. Despite repeated calls to Progressive’s national line, I was told they couldn’t help and that I had to contact the assigned adjuster. My claim was later dismissed without explanation, and I received only a generic letter in the mail. I followed up requesting details and never heard back. Jeep was totaled 6/13 /25 after reading all the bad reviews my decision to leave progressive is foremost in my mind after being a customer for 10 yrs.I have been getting the run around have played the middleman got info from the loan company for my adjuster simplified the list of things she needed to fax to the loan company so they could send the letter of guarantee so that progressive can send the check.my gap insurance is patiently waiting for progressives proof of payment so they can pay the rest.Here I sit watching days go buy with no action.Excuse I get from my claims rep is that she's busy.well Fax the things they need so you can be done with this.No let's drag it out a month.If I could get another claims rep to step in and finish it would be much appreciated.
