Progressive Insurance - Claims Office

3 weeks without a car and no resolution in the near future. Looking at at least another 2 weeks without a car. 3 weeks waiting on adjuster. I am told they are short staffed. I am filing a complaint with the state today. They actually are encouraging me to do so with letters that say we can't determine your damage, here file a a complaint. Yes. I would imagine it is hard to determine damage when you don't send adjusters. NY regulation gives them 6 days to inspect car not 3 weeks. I am trying to determine other options as I have no car and I live alone. I can't not have a car for another month. Update. The repairs have now been approved. Don't expect any help from them when you actually get into an accident & file a claim. Progressive will do everything in their power to NOT pay what is due to you, including dragging their feet in processing your claim, so the storage price goes up, and lowballing the value of your vehicle. I do NOT recommend!!!

Terrible insurance adjusters who are condescending and don't listen. Claim to have evidence but yet fail provide the evidence they have to me. They rely solely on heresy and NOT police reports.

Julie Cowles has been unbelievably horrible throughout every step of my claim process. If she is your agent, you are screwed. Terrible communication, mistake after mistake that she refuses to take any accountability for, while belittling and diminishing my very valid frustrations as a customer. My claim was first filed on September 2nd—it is mid-November and I still have not received the payout! Will never be using Progressive insurance again.

Horrible. I don’t understand the purpose of anyone being a part of this stupid insurance. Benefits are actually 0, my car stopped and needed a jump start and waited for 3 hours and Everytime I called they guarantee someone will be there in 15 minutes. Useless service. For the record I’m still waiting in the cold while no one came. I should switch to a different insurance.
