Insurance agents have a duty to advise clients appropriately based on the information they're given. This is the law, and Pearson Wallace did NOT DO THEIR JOB. I hope this serves as a warning to protect others. I bought a new home and specifically stated that I was doing an interior renovation before moving in. The agent I was working with discussed "builders' insurance" but never offered me a quote, she said, because I wasn't doing "structural work," I did not need it. My home renovation project went very wrong, and I had absolutely no protection, costing me hundreds of thousands of dollars simply because an agent didn't do her job.
