I have been with State Farm since 1972, and during that time, I've never had to file a claim for anything. Lucky? Perhaps. However, my luck ran out with Hurricane Helene, which flooded my vehicle with 5 feet of salt water, totaling it. The day after Helene passed our area, I called Mike Martin's office, and Mel Perez started a claim on my behalf. State Farm texted and emailed me that same day, informing me that they would start working on my claim. Their claim team reached out a couple of days later with towing information, asking if I needed a rental car, as per my policy, and arranged it with a location closest to me.
