This insurance company treats your horse claims unfairly and tries everything they can to deny you the claim. DO NOT trust them. I will be taking them to court as my attorney now has to get involved. They are a big company that cannot be trusted and is out to take advantage of their customers. As an equine owner I would NEVER recommend them ever again. Additionally, if this is how they treat thier customers now with equine I would not use them for any other insurance. I will be sharing my experience with everyone in Virginia and they will be added to my untrustworthy vendor short list. Most companies will try to be fair unless they are motivated solely by money alone. This is the case with Markell. They only care about taking your money!!!
