Jonathan Williams: Allstate Insurance

Talked with Cory Martin who answered many questions of mine today. He has helped me save on my auto insurance in the past and given me plenty of explanations to my question(s)/concern(s). -As someone may have mentioned below, when I call the office I reach an agent that appears to be not local/1-800 agent; and the last time I tried I had a hard time getting someone from the local office. There may be a good reason for this but it is nice when you can reach someone in office. However, when I drove there in person today was able to talk with Cory quickly without an appointment and my experience was great.

I would not recommend Jonathan Williams! Also, I would not even give him one star but I had no other option in order to write this review. It's too bad that Gary Lashley sold his business to Johnathan Williams. On August 6, 2025, I sent a copy of the receipt to Jonathan Williams for the towing of my vehicle. He replied that he needs an invoice which includes the name, VIN of the vehicle, and the amount paid. On August 7, I sent Mr. Williams a copy of the invoice and he replied that this is exactly what he needs and would immediately file the claim. On August 15, I sent Mr. Williams an email inquiring about the status of my claim…..no response. On August 20, I sent him another email inquiring about the status of my claim…no response. To call their local office number, you will be routed to a 1-800 and frustration begins to set in. By the time you are done explaining over and over again that you need to speak to a LOCAL person, not someone in the Phillipines, they will finally connect you. Please, do yourself a favor and shop around. I get it, a new day, a new technology, but, I've been in business long enough to know that if your customers want to talk to you, they do not want to go thru this BS on their phone system.

I've been with Allstate for over 40 years. I won't switch for two simple reasons: 1) Their local agencies and 2) their rates can be as customizable as competitors. Every time I call the Jonathan Williams Agency, I get a live person in short order. They treat me like a valued customer. They help me through complex situations. For car or homeowners insurance, they handle my claims fairly, promptly, and keep me informed. They show me how to save money. Recently they refunded $197.00 when I signed up for their app. Coverage is outstanding and they never, ever suggest they would drop me because of a claim like one company did many years ago. Why switch? They are the best!
