This review will be a prime example of the lack of care & help from health insurance companies that we have in AMERICA. The disappointment & frustration this company has caused my family since November is beyond belief. (And still not resolved) I called the beginning of NOVEMBER to add my newborn daughter -born in October -to our already existing policy. I was helped by a representative who said he’d call me back after 1 hour on the phone doing our application because the computers were not working. NEVER heard back. One week later I called again to speak with a NEW person, had to fill out an entire APPLICATION AGAIN, (with my newborn crying) for another HOUR. Delay, Deny, Defend....this the Mantra for Horizon. If the Public knew about the various Vendors that Horizon hires to deny Covered Services and Claims they would lose substantial market share. They really should be investigated by The Department of Banking and Insurance

Their online system is complete trash!!! Honestly the worst set up imaginable. It has continually made me change my password, then change it again directly after changing it. My acct is constantly disabled. Want help? Can't get any, acct disabled. It is almost as if this company all around is committed to causing their customers constant aggravation.

Unfortunately this is the insurance my job has provided for me. I have severe rosacea and every appointment I’m left paying more then half of the appointment. I’ve had severe stomach issues for the last 10 years and since I’m not considered high risk to them I have to pay 6k out of pocket and again paying more then half of the appointment. This is absolutely ridiculous as these people are the DRs THEY recommended that are covered. This is exactly why people don’t have insurance and just go without seeking treatment and die because the healthcare system insurance included is a SCAM. I will be glad when my insurances switches. Dealing with this one is absolutely horrible.

Submitting police report for fraud and stealing. Cashed our check on the 1st, and then canceled our insurance. Called and was told they never got the check. Have proof of cashed check with their account info on it from the bank.
