The amount of Prior Authorizations that you need for your medical services if you have complicated health issues are a nightmare! Good luck getting the care that you need in time, IF it even gets approved! You're better off getting Medicare Supplement plans for your people!

The nightmare continues. I have reports from providers that I have additional insurance coverage from BCPS and that part of my Medicare payment was denied. The amounts are not huge, fortunately. In May of 2022, I waited 3 weeks for someone to call me about the drug formulary. It never arrived. I asked for an emailed health care guide. It arrived in July. I emailed my retirement selection request and documents for my supplemental insurance. Nothing. I retired 10 days ago and have no insurance cards, no email confirmation...nothing. Finally, after multiple phone calls and emails, got a response. They lied to cover the ineptitude. Blamed it on SS. Great company.
