Progressive Insurance - Claims Office

This wasnt our specific office, but progressive insurance as a whole, is a despicable company as a whole. They stole money directly from our account, and are denying wrong doing. Its not a miss understanding. My wife opened a policy at the end of Oct 25, explained that she wished me to be a list only driver bc I've had slue of people run into my car over the last 3 years making our insurance cost triple, so she thought bc her record was clean which she explained to the rep, shed get a cheap policy to save some overall cost. At no point did progressive or any of the reps offer her an exclusion form, she uploaded proof of my insurance the following week, and moved on. Progressive said they never received the proof and pulled an additional 1700$ from our bank, she called to ask why, they lied

Terrible Total Loss Claim Experience with Progressive Insurance. After a deer accident totaled our car, Progressive made an already stressful situation much worse. We were stranded in New Jersey, had hotel and rental car expenses, and then had to drive back to Maryland. Progressive pressured us to sign what they claimed was a POA but turned out to be signing over the title before showing any settlement numbers. Huge red flag. The initial valuation was based on the wrong vehicle, and it took multiple requests to correct it. Even then, they refused to properly account for features like tinted windows, despite dealership confirmation. They added my roommate to my insurance without approval, this is after years of using progressive and never having this issue. The help talks to you like you’re a child and is absolutely no help. There should be a class action lawsuit against this type of practice.

This insurance company is the worst I've ever seen. They're incredibly slow and have a terrible attitude. I've never seen such a lousy insurance company. They promised to pay out, but then changed their minds and said they wouldn't pay. Everyone, please don't buy insurance from this company, or you'll get ripped off. Garbage insurance, always on consignment.

I had to drive 1 hour to get there, being told my title needed to be notarized in person for them to give me my check.. They lied, there was not a notary present. I signed title in front of a man who then took a copy of my driver's license and gave me my check. I do not like being lied to.
