Avoid this company!! I placed a claim for repair of my refrigerator. The service call cost $100.00 which is understandable, but after diagnosis (which I question its validity) of the problem they determined that replacement was the best course of action. Great -- until they send a lowball offer of $815.00 to replace a 3 door (3rd door provides instant access to things int he door) 36" countertop fridge with water and ice dispenser. At minimum buying a Hisense with just 2 upper doors runs over $1000.00. When I appeal I am told by my claims agent that they have reviewed the claim for accuracy and that they do not have to match dimensions and features (even though they say the amount is calculated based on features and size). I filed a claim in early October for my heater mot working, a month later they scheduled a company to come look at it. They never showed up and tried to call them and number wasnt even working. After a month they claimed they couldn't find anyone to come out and I could find my own and get reimbursed. I chose that, called 3 companies and 2 could show up same week. So they are not good at getting a contractor. The company showed up and I gave them the instructions for how to submit approval request. He said he did it. He finished the job a couple weeks later as the parts were covered under manufacture warranty. So they only billed the time. I would give 0 starts if possible. I am a very patient and logical person which makes this review even more valid. I've been a customer for close to five years and have placed a total of 3 claims during that time. One for a refrigerator that wasn't cooling (the repairman was able to fix it) and two for the same dishwasher. Most recently, the dishwasher had a slow leak. Long story short, we paid the $125 for a tech to come out. He arrived closed to 8p and didn't leave until almost 11pm on a weekday. He wasn't able to fix the problem and gave the report to HWA. We woke up to water on our brand new original hard wood floors the next morning. If I could give -0 stars I would. If you are looking for a home warranty company PLEASE PLEASE don't pick this one. This is the most unprofessional, dishonest piece of crap company that I've ever dealt with. I was with these clowns every since 2019 and each claim I made with these idiots was an issue. They always find a loop hole into wanting you to cough up money advising about a non covered part. Dummy you can't just cover one part and the other parts are an issue you are to cover everything. The last claim I made with these idiots just made me say enough is enough. How in the hell am I making a claim and you want me to pay the AC contractor & HWA. This company is very hard to get to cover any claim. When they do cover a claim it is for a limited (very limited) amount of money, and their service providers don't show or they are very inexperienced. We had a hot water heater go out. They advised us that a 50 gallon with a booster would be as good as a 75 gallon. We agreed because we had been without hot water for over a week at that point. Then the warranty company purchased the hot water heater from a manufacturer. The plumber, who was very nice and helpful, came to install. It did not work. We still had no hot water. Then he came back the next day. It worked for 2 weeks and then we had no hot water again. I was advised that I had to pay for another claim because this was different.
