HealthMarkets Insurance - Mel Brickman

I recently met with Mel Brickman to help switch my very elderly mother to a new insurance plan after her previous coverage was not working well. Mel was thoughtful, patient, knowledgeable, and clearly very experienced. He explained everything in a calm, straightforward way that was easy to understand. I never felt rushed or pressured, and I never felt like he was “selling” me anything. He was respectful of our situation and understood the complexities of managing care for an elderly parent. He set my mother up with a new plan and made the whole process much less stressful. I was very pleased with the meeting and highly recommend him.

Mel has alway delivered! I had an unexpected major surgery situation …..prior to, very quickly not only did Mel confirm I had the right policy in place but he ensured me that moving forward I was in good hands. When it comes to insurance, you really don’t know …. until you know! I’ve relied on Mel to guide me on my Business and personal health insurance plans and he has delivered. Provides ann easy and matter of fact service.

Mel has been very helpful with me and now my wife getting us a advantage plan for medicare.He also provided me with another insurance (Surebridge) which payed all my bills not covered by medicare. I have used this insurance twice so it definitely worth getting. My two bills totaled almost $6,000 and Surebridge payed them in full.

I would highly recommend Mel!! When I had called him he got me in the same day and when I had walked into his office I was very overwhelmed with health ins. He sat down and took the time to go over everything with me and explained in detail and asked me if I had any questions. Mel definitely knows his line of business.
