Dealing with Kelly Amelia has earned this company a one-star rating. She is probably the worst person I’ve ever had to deal with when filing a claim. Like Kelly, most people don’t go the extra mile anymore, i can tell that this women is just a pencil pusher who looks at the clock wondering when her shift will be over. Do yourself a favor HSB cut the dead weight and get rid of her.

Horrible company to have to deal with. It’s the only company my homeowners insurance uses for their home systems policy so I’m going to have to switch who I have my homeowners insurance with to never have to deal with Hartford again! They make any excuse not to cover your repairs that you put a claim in for. For instance: the line that my washer drains into came disconnected from the main sewer and they said that they would only cover it if the pipe had broken, since it only came disconnected they won’t cover it, as if I had any control over it! Now they won’t cover a furnace claim because they’re saying it’s due to my chimney not working properly. I had no idea my chimney had collapsed and I was breathing in toxic fumes from my old furnace!! I never want to have to deal with them again!

The company is HORRIBLE!!! I put in a claim with my insurance company over a month ago and I have not heard 1 word from these people. They never got back to me with any information and the claim agent or supervisor has not returned my calls. Meanwhile I am at the mercy of them to fix my issue. Working for HSB had been one of the most amazing experience, it feels like family. The buildings are clean and everyone is friendly.

Not worth your time to many bosses and a lot of over power control BW
