This dental insurance is a SCAM. tl;dr: if you have literally any other option, DO NOT buy insurance here unless you enjoy wasting your time and getting ripped off. They say things like “preventative care is covered at 100%” then reimburse you for 31% of what you paid. Or they say that your child’s frenectomy will be covered at 80%, then deny the claim over and over for obtuse missing paperwork reasons that not even their Customer Service can explain when you FINALLY get through to a human in their deliberately unnavigable phone system (and that missing paperwork sure as <profanity> isn’t explained in the claim denial notice). I’m calling the number listed on your website, but you keep saying it’s not yours and that I’ve reached the wrong place. However, this number is listed everywhere — on your insurance company’s website, Google, Google Maps, and other platforms. When I call it, you claim it’s not Delta, yet money continues to be withdrawn from my account every month. I even went to the bank, but the staff there were unable to cancel the transactions — they didn’t seem to know what to do. You say you’re not connected to the insurance company, but then why is this number listed under your name? Why aren’t the police or government authorities looking into this? This feels like clear fraud.

Delta Dental has been a deeply disappointing experience. This company needs to be investigated. Dentists in our area are dropping out of their network because Delta hasn’t updated its reimbursement rates in years—making it financially unsustainable for providers to participate. As a result, almost every local dentist has left their network, and we’re now stuck paying exorbitant out-of-pocket costs for routine cleanings and basic dental care. It's incredibly frustrating to pay extra for "enhanced" dental coverage that I can't even use. Unfortunately, Delta Dental is the only option offered by my employer. I am incredibly confused. I have had my claim denied due to "missing information" 4 times and counting. Mind you, this was for 1 root canal. Everytime I call to ask what is "missing" they say its my primary insurances EOB and each time they direct me to the form that they need and I send it to the help desk. Each time they say "it will take 7-10 business days to process." Why does it take so long? It's been well over 89 calendar days now and im receiving another claim denial? The last rep told me "we have everything we need, give us 7-10 business days to process." I dont know if the staff is incompetent or if they're just using some AI tool to process claims but this is unprofessional. To the owner - please dont copy and paste your generic customer service response. Clearly my expectation
