Let me start from the beginning. I bought a brand new car in 2024. I have zero accidents and zero tickets reported and am over 25 (was at the time). When I requested full coverage for this car, my former insurer gave the “best deal they could provide” at 3,300 a year. Mind you this was an increase from $400 a year to this just adding collision to my policy. Growing up we had State Farm, but went elsewhere due to cost. When this search began, the average I was getting from even mediocre (to put it nicely) was this $3300 a year all the way to $3300 every 6 months ($6600 a year).
