I got hot with some very severe health issues a couple of years ago. Thankfully, at the time, I had very good insurance. However, due to my health I had to retire early and go on disability. That means paying for my health insurance out of pocket while going to all these doctor appointments and having surgeries. Since I'm on disability, I was put on Medicare.
