AAA Overland Park Insurance and Member Services

I walked in to get an IDP (International Driver’s Permit). I was greeted and helped immediately. They take the passport photos there as well l, which was super convenient ($20). For the entire process, I might spent 10-15mins - I did fill out my paper application before going.

I called the office several times and never could get an answer. I left a voicemail for a return call. 4 days later...still nothing. They do not care about clients/customers. Very disappointing. Guess I will take my business elsewhere since they dont want it.

Just dropped them due to randomly raising my rate by a third after using them for years when we call to figure out why their customer service has been extremely rude progressive was almost half the cost!!

It was that time of the year and I was looking for an insurance quote and had only heard good things about Triple A. I gave the office a call to develop a quote and had asked about things like discounts, service, etc. I spoke with Sean and he explained everything with some detail and was able to build a quote. Things turned sour really quick when I told him that I was going to continue to shop and compare. He then proceeded to tell me in a disrespectful tone: "Thank you for respecting my time by wasting it". He then hung up on me. I hadn't even decided whether or not to go with triple A but after that NO WAY. I'll take my business else where and I suggest if you are reading this that you do the same.

While experiencing an issue with my auto claim, I asked my assigned agent, Nick Borders at the AAA Overland Park office for help. At first he said he wasn't trained on claims. Then he said he could talk to his manager to see how they could help. The next day he called back to say they couldn't help in any way. I asked if they'd even be willing to call claims with, or for me the help resolve the issue. He refused. He said it's not his job to help customers with claims. I asked what he does to earn his pay if he's not helping customers and he said he doesn't get paid in commission so he's not willing to help. My recommendation would be avoid doing business with AAA and especially with this office and Nick Borders in particular.
