My daughter was in a car accident in another state that was the fault of the other driver. Since we carry only liability coverage on her older car, we were at the mercy of the other driver’s insurance company. My son-in-law, Chris Oehlert, recently joined Brian Quinn’s State Farm agency. Chris brought me into the State Farm family about ten years ago at his previous agency. Initially I just bought insurance for a large commercial building I manage in the Crossroads in KCMO. The premium savings was about $10,000.00 per year. That got my attention. A couple of years later, I switched to State Farm from another insurer, saving about $3,000.00 per year on a restaurant we owned in the Flint Hills. Up to that time, we’d never had a claim, but a couple of years later we had a lightning strike that did more than $15,000.00 damage to the Flint Hills property. With no hassle whatsoever, State Farm paid the full $15,000.00 cost of repairs. I then added our house and cars to State Farm coverage.

Maryann invented the phrase “ Customer service!” She just assisted me with an issue that needed finalizing on my account with State Farm.
