Warning: This Company Will Cost You Business Terrible experience. It took them 4 days to provide the first quote, then they asked for more paperwork and dragged another 5 days. In the end, it took nearly 15 days just to finish a quote, and when we finally requested to bind the policy, it still took them 3 more days — and we are STILL waiting for confirmation. Because of their delays, I lost a great business contact who was giving me solid leads. The loan officer lost confidence in us because this company made us look unreliable. The sad part is that we received the request 2 weeks before closing — and as many insurance agents and loan officers know, 2 weeks is more than enough time to get a quote and bind. In fact, many companies can do this in less than 20 minutes. Companies like this

After paying my premium the exact amounts on my invoice the underwriter told me i owed him his commission and had to pay him through Cash App ! I told him i was not comfortable paying through Cash App how come his commission was not included in his invoice.. i suspect illegal activity and refused to pay him through Cash App and few days later get a notice of cancellation of my insurance with no refund .. they took my money and ran stay away from this company. Sad over $50 he should of included in his invoice

The most unethical, abhorrent company we have ever dealt with! Unethical, shady practices from the underwriters, this company needs to be investigated, beware and use anyone but these clowns!

I regret not reading the reviews before choosing this company to work with. Their accounting services are subpar, and they consistently misplace receipts. I cannot recommend them to anyone. If you're aiming for failure, then go ahead and work with them."

I have had nothing but terrible experiences with their underwriters, billing, and audit departments. They are unresponsive and continuously mess up accounts and renewals. I will be moving everything written with them to our other markets due to their terrible history of being unreliable and constantly missing the mark. With so many other E&S markets available, you would think they would try to maintain their book of business/relationships. I implore anyone who reads this review as a broker to completely steer clear. Appalachian will need to do some major clearing of house and changes for us to reconsider writing with them.
