Ventura DMV

My driver's license was expiring, so I made a reservation online and was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to be the only one at the check-in window, was given a number by a friendly clerk, went to sit down and wait but my number was immediately called and I, again was served by another friendly clerk, who did all of the paperwork, gave me the eye exam, and sent me for my photo. Although another person was ahead of me, my photo was taken and I left the office within 10 minutes, making this visit the shortest one ever!

My husband had an appointment here today. Gentleman ( he was actually a jerk) at the first window was so obnoxious and rude. Little man on a power trip! Totally uncalled for crappy attitude. Everyone else was great, especially Amy!

I was scared at first because the roads looked a bit rough. But everyone in the DMV is ultra nice. The guy at the front helped us and he was very outgoing and positive, his name was Robert. My driving test instructors name was Mark and he was also incredibly kind, patient, and he spent so much time just to make sure there is no misunderstanding about the vehicle. The best DMV experience I have had! I really appreciate the staff here they are all so nice!

I am so impressed by the friendliness, quickness, and patience that this offices shows its customers. This was my second visit here in two seperate issues in two months. Both employees were women who were amazing. Thank you, CA DMV!

Love coming to the DMV in Ventura everybody’s always happy and energetic, but today was a different story. Today’s date October 17, 2025 time to be exact 4:29 PM My ticket number Was B158. Right from the jump, bad attitude, no energy whatsoever no charisma no character rude as if I was telling her how to do her job clearly I have full respect for everybody that works at this DMV, Ventura’s and everywhere else, but this person does not belong in the front counter Either make an adjustment or find a different job people like her give Ventura DMV, bad vibes and people not wanting to come back and do their transactions and bring their money here. What’s going on with our country it’s going down the drain and it’s people like her to everyone else at the DMV continue to do a good job 👍
