United Heritage Life Insurance Company

Just like the other reviews, we have had this insurance company for almost 6 years. Only one inexpensive claim and paid them thousands a year for their Gold package. To receive a letter cancelling our coverage without a phone call to see if there is some other coverage they can help us with, they suggest we contact their affiliate insurance company. This is horrible customer service and I will be contacting all local lenders and asking them to not recommend this insurance company to new home owners.

This insurance company is the ABSOLUTE WORST I have ever dealt with! One of their clients hit my daughters car and then she lied about doing it. Luckily, we had the police report where she stated she was at fault but getting reimbursed from this insurance company was a total nightmare and my daughter was left without a car while they continued to delay and make excuses for not paying. They paid some of the total amount due but then even mailed my check to an home we lived at over 7 years ago. They are completely disorganized and unprofessional and even still owe me money and they refuse to pay the remaining balance even though I have provided the documentation 3 time. I had a horrible time getting them to cancel my policy, my rates were increased by more than double without notice. The messages I left were ignored and I never received a call back . I feel they charged me way to much for 2 months of insurance and I have found a new insurer.

If there is a way to rate 0, I would do that. This company is a worst experience in my whole auto insurance purchase. I have made few points against them, read them all. At the beginning they attract you with a reasonable insurance rate. When you get in an accident they don't respond you for several days. In case of big claim, they try their best to show your fault not to cover any from the policy. They always denied to cover third party claim. They made you hire a lawyer to fight your claim against them which takes several months/years to be resolved. Personally, in my case I won the law suit they did against me but for lots of people who can't afford lawyer charges, this company makes them homeless. The company has apparently started sending out inspectors to your property and if they find anything they cancel your policy immediately, no recourse. We were in the middle of a deck repair, the new railing being in process of installation when the inspector claimed it was unsafe. I suspect it has to do with AM Best dropping their rating to a B+ (not a good rating) and they are trying to tighten their portfolio. We had been with them for over a decade without a single claim.
