I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with United Healthcare has been so unprofessional and disheartening that I feel compelled to share. Without any notification, United Healthcare terminated my plan yet continued to accept my premium payments for three months. When I discovered this and called to request either a refund or reinstatement, I was told neither would be possible. The representatives I spoke with gave conflicting information, and when I asked for clarification, the supervisor, Glen, became irate, continually interrupted me, and ultimately hung up on me. Would give zero stars to this healthcare insurance company for handling the systems that would actually provide care and reimbursement for services. The United Health Care Medicare Advantage plan is the ONLY option for this 93 year old AT&T retired employee and he has been out the reimbursement for needed vision services provided on 12/12/2024 & 12/17/2024. The customer service team does not know what form to send him to submit for reimbursement - they apologize, tell him to go to the website or app to find the form. Seriously, they cannot find the form! Now, 90 days later, with multiple phone calls, there's no form, an incorrect form was sent and he is still out the money for his 2024 vision exam and glasses - -even though he used the participating UHC service providers. Worst company in the world. This health insurer commits fraud as a corporate policy they deny care to 30% of claims and will concoct bogus reason for the denial. Once denied, if you try to appeal the denial you will spend hours and hours of your life trying to get this appeal approved. They do this hopping that you will give up before they have to payout.

They've stopped covering covid vaccines. I can't get an appointment with any of their doctors. I'm paying for a gold level plan with them and can't use it at all. It's been 9 months without Healthcare. Complete rip off.
