The Hartford

The Hartford does not care about the people that purchase their insurance. They decided to cancel my policy without notice. Then when they were called on it they reinstated, however, they did not inform me of what I owe. I decided to cancel them. They took money out and refuse to reimburse me because they said I have a balance. And yet again they did not inform me of that until I called them. NO Customer information or customer service. This company is all about the $$$ and not the people. Please DO NOT get this insurance. I am just saying.

Don't think for a minute there AARP insurance is there to help seniors with car insurance..I have two cars, each over 35 years old, no colliison coverage..no claims with any of my insurance providers since i was in high school..perfect driving record..I'm 64 and have never had a traffic ticket..they think seniors are not paying attention to the yearly rate increases I've had..I don't have dementia but they think I do..I need to sign up for Medicare this year but I'm sure their AARP United Healthcare Medicare program is a scam too..I'm contacting my state insurance commissioner to follow up on these yearly rate increases from the Hartford..the first doctor i contacted about the AARP United Healthcare Medicare program told me."Absolutely Not"..it's horrible..sign up for original Medicare and

There's a reason why Hartford Insurance is not on the better Business bureau list. AARP need to get a better insurance company to promote. I'm a senior citizen and it seems they try to take advantage. AARP protect senior citizen!!!

I'm fairly convinced that The Hartford's employee handbook says, "Figure out the absolute least you can do...then do less." I was rear ended on 6/26 by someone who carries The Hartford's auto insurance. The other driver was belligerent, so we called the police, who filed a report on the scene determining that he was at fault. I started the claim process with The Hartford as soon as I received the police report a few days later. The following week, I was contacted by a claims handler who told me that they would need to speak to their insured before assigning liability for the claim. Probably one of the most evil and conniving companies I've ever had to displeasure of having to work with. If I could give zero stars or negative stars I absolutely would. The people working here not only refuse to use logic rather than whatever outdated scale they are using to determine claims. I provided a full document of every doctor associated with which treatment and upcoming appointments and they told me it was too much information to thoroughly go through then how do you think I feel having to keep up with all of that and yet it's still not enough information for them.
