I called Balch to attempt to transfer a home owners insurance policy from the previous home owner of a bay home I was purchasing. I was in a time crunch to make the closing date. Before I could get a quote, I was told that I would receive a much higher rate than the current owner and his dialogue was very rude. I received a much lower quote from another company, however I still needed flood insurance. He told me that he was not "wasting his time with just flood insurance. If I didn't go with him for everything he wasn't wasting his time". He was contacting me for business. I could not believe his unprofessional behavior and lack of respect for a potential client.
