Texas Farm Bureau Insurance Company

I've been with Texas Farm Bureau well over 5 years, and I can't say enough good things about my experience. Gary Schmiedekamp has been absolutely amazing - always helpful and consistent with keeping my monthly car insurance rate as manageable as possible. At one point, I even tried shopping around for a cheaper rate when things started getting a little high, but no other insurance company could match what I was paying with them originally. That says a lot about the value and service I've received. I highly recommend them and Gary!

I don't recommend. Your insurance will increase every other month and your agent will not explain why. Their communication is really bad. Not to mention, their home and auto rates are much higher than competitors. The website is also outdated and barely works. Bad service, bad rates, bad user experience. I'm not sure why anyone would choose this company. Take this review as a warning.

I couldn't get insurance but I just spoke to Mrs Steve one of the nicest humans on Earth and even though he wasn't able to help me he provided value and he was very helpful and very informative good people what a great day

Worst company ever. Have been with them since 2007. Made one claim on my house in that time, and they acted like I deliberately damaged my house. I found cheaper vehicle insurance , and cancelled my policy with them12/21/22. They still charged me a membership fee in January 2023 of $45...Which has never benefitted me ever !! Crooks ! I highly recommend Farmers insurance with Michael Seiler !

We just switched our insurance to Tara Beaty with Texas Farm Bureau. This has been the easiest transition! She met us on a weekend to take photos of our new house and switch over our auto policy from Progressive. Everything has been completely stress free and she is super knowledgeable about the insurance products she offers. We are saving $1-$2k on our home insurance compared to quotes from other companies and just under $500 per year on our auto insurance! Plus, both Tara and her office staff are super friendly and helpful! We could not be happier with our decision.
