Maybe my HO policy was too small for attention, but that was why I initially opted for a local agent - attention and service. It seemed like my agent was always “on vacation.” Rarely was able to get someone on the phone for assistance, and then I rarely needed anything from them. I requested a policy cancellation, which was seriously delayed and I incurred further premiums without any response. They’re fine with the onboarding process, which is obviously where they make their money, but on service and contact they left something to be desired.

Ira Dubowy is a very talented broker with a deep understanding of coverages and their implications. Highly recommend him.
