If your employer contracts with these people, please don't have children or even get sick. My first encounter with them was back in 2017. I had a C-section, and had to be out a certain amount of weeks according to my physician. Sedgwick didnt want to pay for those weeks, they only paid for the time of someone giving natural birth. 2025 I became ill, my physican has taken me out of work for 7 months because Im not able to perform my job duties until my condition is controlled and of course Sedgwick keeps denying my claim. Hopefully my company can contract with someone else. So people can get the help they need.

If there was an option to leave, no stars, I would do so! I was directed to use Sedgwick on a GE claim, GE has been nothing but helpful and had amazing customer service. Sedgwick on the other hand has been nothing but horrible, rude, and has zero empathy. I had a leak from a defective appliance, GE sent me to Sedgwick for settlement. Sedgwick asked that I obtain an estimate for repairs which I did, I submitted the estimate along with pictures of damage and mold in my home! Sedgwick did not like the estimate price and sent an adjuster out, it has been over a month and I still have active black mold in my home that Sedgwick is refusing to expedite the process for. I have sent pictures. I have sent emails daily and I've even requested to speak with a supervisor, which I was told is not going

It's like pulling teeth with a toothpick. I finally gave up and went back to work. I have serious spine issues and if you have had back problems you can sympathize with me. I had a surgery in 2022 and a injury in July of this year. I went a month without pay even though I have been with my company for 26 years (nearly half my life). I am still in a ton of pain and nothing has changed. They blame it on my company but I know better. There was 1 agent that was great, she sent the papers to my Neurosurgeon and took me out of the middle. I wish there were more agents like that. Unfortunately, I will probably have to have another fusion sooner than I wanted to because I can't afford to be without pay for another month. Is part of their training how to frustrate customers? A few good calls but mostly useless and ignorant CSR's. If the voice response doesn't crap out, you've got a slim chance to get anyone competent without asking for escalation.

I have had an extremely frustrating experience with this company. The quality of their customer service is abysmally low. I have repeatedly reached out to them with questions and concerns, yet I never receive a call back or any form of communication acknowledging my issues. After this ongoing lack of support, I have made the decision to cancel my disability insurance policy with them. It’s disappointing to see such a lack of professionalism, and I genuinely hope they reevaluate their customer service approach before they face serious consequences.
