Sean Shewalter - State Farm Insurance Agent

I called Sean after getting a quote in the mail. He spent a full half hour explaining everything to me and relieving my anxiety over possibly messing up my insurance. He was patient, personable and most importantly kind. I’m sure I asked questions that should be self explanatory but he never made me feel stupid and never spoke down to me. I feel like I have a teammate in the scary world of insurance now and recommend anyone else with questions or worries strongly consider reaching out to Sean and getting on his winning team!

Over the last week, I was bombarded with several insurance companies calling, texting and sending emails offering the "best prices & coverage" for my cars. I decided to start with State Farm and was fortunate enough to speak to Akeem today. I can honestly say from the beginning of my call, Akeem was there to help. He helped me to better understand the difference in coverages, he helped with going over ways to save money and in the end helped my peace of mind. I appreciate people like Akeem, great customer service as well as a positive & friendly personality! Thank you!

Unprofessional in terms of how they speak to customers. Missed one confirmed appointment by 27 minutes and Sean hung up in my face after lying about me missing 5 appointments saying I cost him money. Again I had 1 confirmed appointment EVER with this agency and told him I was running behind due to watching my 6 month old daughter. While I was not aware of their mandatory phone call practice prior and wasn’t the best at setting an appointment with them from my end, we eventually came to an agreement finally for a phone call. Not good business practicing people here. A different branch treated me much better. Unfortunate
