Horrible insurance!!’ Not one dentist except this Insurance. Needed an emergency root canal today and called four different places. No one takes this insurance and not one single Dentist has anything good to say about it. I have to submit a claim myself in hopes that I get reimbursed for some of it. Trash Insurance don’t waste your time or money. I really don’t have an option because it’s the only insurance my company offers

The customer service rep was very rude and even heightened her tone with me after asking a valid question. She even huffed before “not answering” my question. So unprofessional. I will not be recommending these benefits to anyone, especially my elderly clients. DO BETTER TUFTS!!!!!!

This has been the worst health insurance experience I’ve ever had. The communication has been terrible, and they are not considerate at all. A little before their cyber attack, I signed up for coverage through CoverMe.gov. I assumed I was covered because, the following month, I had an emergency and was admitted to the ER. However, I was never sent a card or any information confirming my coverage. When I contacted CoverMe.gov, they told me to reach out to Harvard Pilgrim. I tried calling and emailing them for months, but I never received any answers. After they resolved their cyber attack issues, they confirmed that I had been covered all along. I recently signed up for Tufts Health after being on Traditional Medicare, so this is a very early impression. They sent me a member card and a letter asking me to "activate your secure member account" with a QR code. I tried that and got "sorry our systems are unavailable, try again shortly". So I tried the next day and got the same thing. After calling their reasonably competent offshore support, it looks like I can't actually activate the account until the 1st of the year. So this initial review is for their IT department wasting my time with the letter and inappropriate error message.
