Old Republic Surety Company

A customer put a false claim on my contractors Bond. This company subcontracted out the investigation to an incompetent business in Southern California. Long story short I told them all along that the claim was false and they still paid the lying, cheating homeowner 3 thousand dollars. The person they subcontracted the investigation to, Frank Banda in Los Angeles didn't want to listen. They paid almost $3,000 out to the claimant and the California State Licensing Board found me not in the wrong. I hope Lisa and Frank are reprimanded for their dumb decisions. First Republic sent me a bill for paying out the false claim and I refuse to pay. Thank goodness that the California State Licensing Board has educated investigators that work for them.

Imposssible to reach Claims departament. Been trying to reach for weeks. Left voicemails, even to supervisor and manager. Emailed through helpdesk, no response for weeks.

Decent bond company. I used them for a surety bond I needed after building my own trailer.

Left 5 messages. 1 Email over 2 weeks. No response. Terrible!
