Everyone here is incompetent in their jobs when it comes to what is covered and how it is covered. My daughter is a Type I Diabetic. She has medicaid as a secondary income because of the disability. Through Medicaid, you need to go through a Durable Medical Equiptment company (DME) to get the CGMs, you cannot use any pharmacy. Network Health does not understand that. They think pharmacy through DME and DMEs are the same thing, but they are not. I keep asking to give me DMEs, and they hand me pharmacies, or companies that do not help those with diabetes. Yes, she could finger poke and monitor. But at school and sports, it is so helpful because she has minimal symptoms for when she is low or high. This health insurance is almost costing my daughter's life because they are so incompetent.
I am really disappointed in this insurance company. Expect to pay a lot out-of-pocket for the lack of coverage on preventative annual appointments. Also, when you call to discuss billing, and they advise that you can do an appeal, please make sure it's within 90 days of the initial appointment; they won't let you know about the 90 days over the phone. They will have you go through the hoops of an appeal to tell you it was past the 90-day window.
Bar none the best insurance company I have ever had. When I had an issue with a prescription and I called the drug phone number I not only spoke to someone here in WI but they were an actual pharmacist. Got it resolved and prescription filled in less than an hour. Regular customer service has been great too. I thanked my insurance agent for putting me with them. Glad to see a Wisconsin company doing good by its members..
As a provider, they are a great insurance to work with. Very reasonable reimbursement. And the customer service is just fantastic. Both the member services and provider services line. They give accurate information about what is covered, not covered, estimated cost to the patient. And when claims are an issue, they are able to identify the root of the problem very quickly and the resolution comes in a timely manner. Please keep up the good work, continue to be a great insurance company allowing great care to your members and making it easy for providers to render that care!
Twice in one year my insurance plan was canceled without my knowledge. Both times without my knowledge. Once because they made an error, and once because my address changed. This company will not call you to resolve issues. They just cancel.
