NC Farm Bureau Insurance

Let me warn you about the disgraceful behavior of State Farm and Farm Bureau. These companies are happy to take your monthly premiums, but when it comes time to actually pay out for damage, they’ll do anything to weasel out of it. State Farm sent out a so-called “inspector,” not even a licensed appraiser, after storm damage in March. He dismissed the damage to my chimney with a bogus excuse involving the gutters and gutter guard, and they never sent a real adjuster. No coverage, no repairs. I then switched to Farm Bureau immediately assuring me how they would pay in a similar situation. Another major storm hit, causing even more damage to the same chimney. Farm Bureau refused to cover it, claiming State Farm hadn’t repaired the previous damage, so now neither company would pay for anything

Reached out to the branch manager this am to ask about transferring my policy to the local office (my current policy held by an agent that moved to Pender Co 6 years ago!) and branch manager reached out via phone within an hour! Clay was so amazing to work with on the phone that I came into the office to meet him and his team in person. They were all amazing to work with- made the whole meeting so painless and easy. I am one of those who dreaded insurance people like the dentist telling me he needs to drill!! This is a newer manager (not the cranky guy I talked to on the phone 4 years ago. He even made a couple of great suggestions to update coverage in my auto policy and found ways to reduce the premium on my homeowners. Highly recommend the Tinsley Rd branch.. trust me not all NC Bu
