NC Farm Bureau Insurance

I have been highly impressed with our agent, Colby George. In the middle of some pretty traumatic events due to Hurricane Helene, Colby took the time to reach out and see how my family was doing. It wasn’t a mass text, she sent a personalized message. As an insurance adjuster myself, I understand how incredibly difficult that level of customer service is to maintain. Even pre storm she’s been intentional about making sure our insurance needs were met and customized for our family. I’m super pleased with NC Farm Bureau Insurance!!

Was okay at first- but then started to have issues- first something randomly happened with the auto pay when i had it set up and no issues for over a year and then i get charged extra when it clearly was not my fault. Finally after having multiple other issues come up with all of my 3 policies with them- General Liability, Renters & Auto i decided to get a quote from progressive which was way cheaper! Decided to reach out to my agent Colby to cancel my 2 policies but not my General Liability. Later come to find out she went ahead and cancelled all 3 when i specifically mentioned to keep GL for now. She says she did not cancel it and asked if it was due to non payment…. She did cancel it and was trying to back track and was also very unprofessional. Absolutely do not recommend using them.

I have never filed an insurance claim in my life. (80 years old) We were recently rear ended. The other driver had Farm Bureau insurance. Coincidently so do we. We filed a claim the same day. Within 24 hours I had an email from the adjuster asking me to get an estimate for the repairs. Once that was done she sent a check to cover it. The repair shop later contacted Farm Bureau about some additional repairs needed and they also covered that. A rental car was provided for the time that my car was in the shop. Could not have had a better experience.

I had a similar experience as one of the other reviews. I was very happy and content with this insurance. I never pay late, no claims, use their home auto and gl insurance. I decided to get a quote to add my wife who's insurance would be higher and i knew that. Quote was given at 877 for 6 months so i added her. When i got the bill it was actually 1500 for 6 months. Raising my 6 mo rate for both of us to 2100 dollars!! When i called, the response was sorry can you reinstate her old insurance? and then he told me it would likely double again next year ( 4200 6mo) because for some reason more experience with no accidents or tickets costs more?? I called around, found insurance that was only 769 for both of us for 6 mo (from a national brand). I bought their auto and home then cancell

Never have I met insurance agents like these guys and gals here. I had one agent there drive all the way to where I was working just so I could sign some papers to buy a truck. I’ve never had an experience like this anywhere with any kind of professional services agency. They really do treat you more than a customer, more like a professional friend. If I could give them 6 stars I would!
