My wife called on 2/6 that she went into early labor. On 2/10 she called again and had to leave a voicemail that we had the baby, but it was in NICU. The rep was "out" and no one checked her voicemail, so we finally got a call back today 2/19 and were told that we should have taken disability starting on 2/7 and that we are losing all of the time that she worked from 2/10 to 2/19. Basically, tough luck because MetLife failed to contact us within a reasonable time and we "should know" the policy. There are no exceptions even though the baby is still in the hospital. This company is terrible, do not recommend.

So many issues… The main one at the moment is that since 2012 after my husband died, a MetLife rep came to my house then to advise on investments and help with collecting my late husband’s MetLife life insurance. She set up my quarterly share dividend payments with the wrong last name for me. I added my maiden name in 1992 - legally - to hyphenate both my maiden & married names. She only wrote down my married name, and now to get it changed I have to get some kind of medallion stamp on the change form as if I MYSELF made this mistake or just recently changed my name. I’m 70, widowed, chronically ill and permanently disabled, and I was recently diagnosed with leukemia. I also just lost my only daughter less than a month ago which is affected my health and my ability to get out to do pretty

My first experience was awful. Not Metlife itself but the towing company. The second time was a great experience. I did not have to wait a long time and the towing company was very polite and considerate
