Horrible. They are hard to get a hold of and communicate with. Also if you want to keep insurance through them don’t use roadside assistance. I locked my keys in my car and used road time assistance for the first time in over 16 years. Unfortunately I had a bad year and used it three times. They cancelled my policy. The lady said that she had people who used it once that were cancelled. My bad for being stupid and locking my keys in my car but still seems a little ridiculous. I was shocked when the lady told me that people were cancelled that only had one roadside assistance claim. Not a company I would want to go with again. They tried to recommend me to go through safeco who is apparently a sister company. No thanks.

This insurance company is awful. Don't use it. I have been for over two years. They have raised my monthly premiums so much that I cannot afford them. I have an old car. Then, when I canceled, the amount she told me was different than when I checked my account online. It is a dishonest and crooked people and company.

Terrible communicators, and poor customer service. When we filed a claim they would call right before they left for the day, so if we didn't answer they would not be reachable. Our claim officer was gone from the office for 5 days, never mentioned it before she left. Anyone in the office was not able to help us or answer questions. Finally, they rejected our claim, with very little information and a thin argument as to why it was rejected. Their inability to communicate properly and quickly, cost us more money, as our restoration company was waiting for insurance information, therefore more damage was done. Do not work with Liberty Mutual.

We’ve used Liberty Mutual for several years. We have clean driving records and pay on time. We used Roadside Assistance 3 times in the course of a year and they cancelled our policy. DO NOT use this company. They are a bunch of crooks that want to collect your money every month, but God forbid you actually use the service that you’re paying for they cancel your policy.

Terrible insurance company. I insured my Canam side by side with "full coverage" through Safeco which is owned by Liberty Mutual. When I actually had to file a claim with them I never though it would go as bad as it did. My vehicle was in a roll over so it had pretty extensive damage. I suggested to safeco that it seems like a total loss. They decided to move forward with repairing it anyway which I was ok with knowing it would take a few months. Well 6 months later my vehicle is still in the shop and when it came time to pick it up Safeco refused to pay for all of the repairs. I went back and fourth with them for a while and finally gave up and paid the remaining bill that should have been covered under my policy.
