John Rose: Allstate Insurance

Pretty sad when you can’t update Google‘s website. I needed to talk to an agent in person, so I looked it up and drove to the address. I was surprised when there was a totally different business in the building. When I called the phone number, the lady answered and said they were in Charlotte and that they had closed this location. I don’t feel like I’m in good hands.

I had a very frustrating experience with this agency. After my car was deemed a total loss (settled through the other party’s insurance), Allstate continued to bill me for a vehicle I no longer owned. It took over a month to remove the car from my policy, and during that time I was charged for coverage I did not and could not use. Despite multiple calls, I never received a clear explanation from underwriting or a call back with updates. The staff is polite, but no one provided solutions or accountability. I ultimately cancelled my policy because of the poor handling and lack of communication.

Very disappointed with this agency's agents and front desk staff. They put the wrong start date on our car ins. We were w/o ins. For 2 days unbeknownst to us. They were given copies of our expiring home and car. This cost us $100 fine from state. Went to office to pay ins premium with points cc. Front desk staff looked up both accounts and said they were on autopsy with our bank acct. And we would lose discount if we changed this. We left as is. 2 weeks after our due date, I kept looking at bank acct. For debit of paid ins. The front desk staff who checked the acct when I was in there forgot to check both policies box for bank payment. So only car ins got paid not homeowners. Now I need to pay property tax and renew yearly registration on cars. State fined us $100 more dollars for 2 days l

I would give this office a -100 star review if I could. Everybody working there including the supervisor and the owner are the most unprofessional people that I have dealt with in my life. I had a very unpleasant experience with them. The agent reached out to me about switching our auto insurance from the company we were using to Allstate. Her name is Crystal. She said that we won’t get penalized even though the next 6 months period has already started with the insurance company we were currently using. I made sure to double check with her because it makes no sense to save $100 by switching if you have to pay more for penalty. She reassured me that everything is fine. Sure enough a couple weeks later I get a penalty bill of $347. When I reached out to them, they said that there is nothing
