I made an appoint with this carrier two weeks ago. Brought in a all my declaration pages of my current polices. We discussed my needs, copies were made and I was told I would receive a call back on prices and options within a couple days Two weeks passed so I called the carrier. The secretary told me the agent was available. She asked my name and a minute later said he was in a meeting. I left a VM and he never got back. I have found these carriers want your business. But when they realize they can't beat your current policy, they don't reach back to inform you. I waited two weeks giving this agency time to get back with me. I have been a customer of this agency for over 10 years. Recently, I called simply to better understand what my policy did and did not cover. Instead of getting clarity, I uncovered multiple serious issues with how my policy had been handled. These included coverage not being listed at the correct addresses and receiving contradictory answers to the same questions on different phone calls. As a long-term customer, I believe it is reasonable to ask clear questions about coverage—especially with something as complex and consequential as insurance. When I asked for more specific explanations, the experience quickly went downhill. They used to seem to care. This year, I had to call them and ask to check around.. then finally heard back a week later, however She was unable to give me actual numbers and seemed to act like It was not worth her time to actually due her job.. Could nit give me another insurance companies and prices just told me to go with 1 company said she could save a little extra but didn't say how much, just for me to go with a contract I got in the mail to renew my old insurance.. Like I said very disappointed this year. I know rates went up everywhere, but it would have been nice to get actual examples and prices.. Sorry that I expect people to do their jobs. My suggestion is to try any other company and to stay away from this one.
