I reached out to this company for a homeowners insurance quote on November 16 through their website. Kat Lamar called me back the next day, and I provided all the details about my new home. I told her I needed coverage starting November 24, and she said it would be simple since she could find everything on the Zillow listing. After that first call, I never heard back. I followed up on the 19th to confirm she had my correct email, and she said she’d get back to me soon—but again, nothing. I tried calling her on the 21st, left a voicemail, and still no response. Agents sloppiness caused my policy to lapse. She told me not to worry she will call me back in a few minutes. I sat there and waited but no calls. Days later, after calling 4 more times she finally returned my call to tell me policy deadline runout. I would need a new policy for an extra $600.
